Option 1: Cape Town, Kruger National Park & The Victoria Falls
After a long journey, why not begin your holiday on a more relaxing note in Cape Town. Here you can decide what you would like to do on a day-to-day basis, from spectacular scenic tours of Table Mountain, to picturesque winelands and of course, great tastings along the way. Enjoy the laid back nature of the Cape, the friendly people and the many different cultures.
From here, a short 3-hour flight will put you in the heart of the greater Kruger National Park. This is where your African safari will begin. Spend 3 or more days at one camp or possibly try two different camps, the more time you spend here, the more you will see. Amazing game viewing, great service and delicious African cuisine is the order of the day.
Once you have captured those wonderful images of wildlife, travel into Zambia to view the magnificent Victoria Falls. This is a great way to wind down after some early mornings on safari. Relax and savour the beauty of the Falls and wildlife that inhabits this great area.
Option 2: Botswana, Victoria Falls & Cape Town
Start your holiday with an incredible bush fix: head into Botswana to experience the abundance of wildlife, amazing birding and the beauty of the Okavango Delta.
Following this take a short flight across the border to see the breath-taking Victoria Falls and perhaps a stunning sunset cruise on the mighty Zambezi River.
After all this excitement, a calming few days in Cape Town is just what the doctor ordered. Here you can enjoy great tours of the picturesque countryside, taste the most exquisite wines, and do some whale watching in Hermanus, or for the more adventurous: shark cage diving.
Option 3: Rwanda & Mozambique
The “once-in-a-lifetime” encounter for the more experienced safari goer can only be the gorillas in Rwanda. Hike through thick forests in search of these amazing animals, and be humbled and awed by their beauty and grace. Rwanda offers a truly unique and amazing experience.
Following this why not take some serious relaxation time on the gorgeous, white sand, turquoise water islands of Mozambique – inviting beaches, amazing seafood, and some tranquil peace and quiet, giving you the perfect opportunity to unwind.
