STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS AGREEMENT

Africa Revealed (Pty) Ltd. Established May 2014. Is an inbound luxury travel company for Africa.

Our responsibility is to plan and book itineraries for guests that are traveling to Africa, in accordance with their requests, as best possible.
All accommodation is booked according to availability, and in line with dates given to Africa Revealed by the booking guests.

Guests agreeing to a quote or invoice via email are bound to that, and it is then deemed the contract.

In so doing, all parties agree to these Terms and Conditions.

LEGAL

Africa Revealed and its website is governed by the Laws of South Africa.
And Africa Revealed chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature.
Company has been registered and managed with in South Africa.
Registration number is (Pty) Ltd 2014/092353/07

PAYMENT

Deposit and Final Payment.
NB. Contract is valid from receipt of deposit or full payment, and all terms and conditions apply. A 25% non-refundable deposit is due upon confirmation of services.
The final payment is due no later than 90 days prior to commencement of services and travel.

The following exceptions apply:
1. If seasonal deposits are required.
2. If additional permits are required, (such as gorilla trekking).
3. If a suppliers conditions’ vary from any mentioned above.
4. If bookings are made within less than 90 days of arrival, then the full amount is due on

confirmation.
5. If there are any regional flights or transfers needed, they will have t be booked and paid for

upfront!

CANCELLATIONS and REFUNDS

Cancellations are only recognized on receipt of written notification.
The 20% deposit is non-refundable.
If cancellation has been made within 7 weeks prior to departure, NO refund is applicable.
Africa Revealed will endeavor to refund guests where possible, and as a courtesy to our guests, if cancellations have been made within a certain time frame.
This however is entirely in line with the terms of the respective lodge or hotel, we adhere to their policies, which can be sent to you on request.

INSURANCE

NB:

Upon accepting the services of Africa Revealed, it is a condition of the booking, and sole responsibility of the guests traveling, to book their own travel insurance!
The correct full comprehensive travel and medical insurance is required for guests travelling and all dependents, for their entire duration of their trip with Africa Revealed.

This should include, but not be limited to the following. 1. Medical expenses
2. Emergency evacuation back to country of residence 3. Cancellation or curtailment of trip

4. Damage or theft to any personal belongings, including luggage or any other goods.

Africa Revealed and its employees are not responsible or liable for any cost or losses incurred by the guests, dependents and travelling companions.

Africa Revealed have full right to request, proof of travel insurance prior to commencement of services.

PLEASE NOTE

Visitors to Africa must have a passport that is valid for at least 6 months beyond their intended departure date, together with onward travel documents, proof of accommodation and sufficient funds for the duration of their stay. In addition, each country they may be visiting generally requires at least 2 consecutive/side by side blank pages on entry for both visas and stamps. Should the itinerary include more than one country, excluding the country of departure and return, a sufficient number of blank visa pages (not endorsement pages) in their passport is required. Should there be insufficient blank pages in your passport then entry into or exit from country could be denied.

Any applicable visas, costs and/or relevant documentation are the responsibility of the guest. They must please verify with the relevant consulate concerning visa entry requirements and, if extending their journey to other countries, the visa entry requirements for those countries need to be established as well.

Guests must ensure they have all necessary visas prior to departure from their home country (unless these can be obtained on arrival) as Africa Revealed, its staff, agents and operators cannot be held liable should entry be denied.

If a parent/guardian is travelling alone with a minor children (aged 18 years or younger) to South Africa then the parent/guardian must be in possession of a certified letter of consent from the non- accompanying parent or guardian, as well as an official unabridged birth certificate of the minor.

Your itinerary may include camps/lodges that are situated in Malaria and Yellow Fever areas. Please consult a medical practitioner, pharmacist or travel clinic to establish what precautions and/or vaccinations will be required.

Due to the logistics of travelling on a safari to remote areas, we strongly recommend that all guests read the literature provided. Should there be any further queries, please feel free to contact us.

CHILDREN

Most lodges have a minimum age of 7 years old for children. Children of this age may share with parents.

Allowances may be made for younger children if the lodges agree to it, or for special family bookings.

FLIGHTS

All regional flights to the respective camps in Africa have very strict weight and baggage limits. South Africa and Botswana luggage limit (including hand luggage) is 20Kg/ 44lbs and for Kenya and Tanzania the limit is 15kg/33lbs. Soft duffel bag type luggage is required - no hard cases. It is the responsibility of the guests to make sure that these limits are adhered to, as flying will not be allowed if over- weight. If required, storage of luggage can be arranged at an additional fee from the charter companies.
